2012-09-07 00:32:00 | Win 7 I have a Galaxy 3 cell phone . The videos I take with it I put into MY Pictures and then view them etc. with Picasa . The results were a jerky video so I went into My Pictures and the results are the same, jerky. The videos are perfect played back on the phone. I have drop box on the phone and pc and the videos play correctly from there. I have copied the videos onto a memory stick via the pc and they play back on the pc properly from there I have dozens of videos taken from another camera in My Pictures and they are all okay. Any ideas would be appreciated as I intend to use the phone only for photos and videos....Jarob

2012-09-11 22:56:00 | What are the specs of your PC? Lets start with that, there's the possibility it's not grunty enough | Chilling_Silence (9) | |

If so that's very odd because the memory stick should be much slower than a hard drive. Is anything going on in the background? downloading, file copying, virus scans etc? You should be able to play directly off the phone on the PC via USB also, is that smooth? Also how full is the hard drive and do you have more than one? |

2012-09-14 04:59:00 | Hi Guys thank you for your suggestions.. Specs Intel Core 2 Quad cpu Q6600 @ 2.4 ghz 4 gb ram 32 bit AMD Radeon H.D.6700 2x 500gb raid H.D. 30% used. Well you made sense about playing from the hard drive should be better than from a stick , so I tried again from My Pictures and the videos were good. Can only think that a auto back up was going on at the same time with the first try. So now all is good except when I use Picasa where the videos are still jerky (buffering ). I have close to the latest..3.9.0 build 135.07.0 . It can only be a Picasa problem, also the videos are taken in 1080p which may pushing Picasa ? Thanks

2012-09-14 06:57:00 | Shouldn't be, your PC has *plenty* of grunt. I've done 1080p on a machine 1/4 as grunty as that.... | Chilling_Silence (9) | |
2012-09-14 09:25:00 | Yes thanks for that. I realise it is not the machine but perhaps Picasa has its limitations | jarob (7088) | |
