1299425 2012-09-06 22:39:00 Hi Team

I have had a couple of Hotmail accounts since time immemorial, but they have been unused for many years . I read recently about Microsoft's proposed change from Hotmail . com to Outlook . com, including the assurance that the existing addresses (@hotmail . com) could still be used, so I thought I'd see if my old accounts were still active .

Issue is this: I went to the login page but the 'username' and 'password' prompts are greyed-out, so neither will accept any input . I thought it might be related to the new name but there is no 'click to access new logon page' message or any other explanation on the login page .

I have no plans to use @Outlook/Hotmail services but figured it might be time to look and see what had accumulated in their in-boxes, especially how many lotteries I'd won, which relatives had died leaving me their $millions, and how my viagra suppliers were holding up .

As usual, I may be missing something here . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Cheers

really?

I didn't use mine for 4 years, and when I tried to log back into it one day it said the address had been reserved for me and would I like to re-activate it?

I selected, yes, went straight to my inbox.

Within about 3 minutes I had emails for penis enlargement pills and skanky whores in my area....

Sounds like an issue with your browser not letting the username\password fields work properly.

If you have adblock or noscript or such it could be interfering. Try disabling such features for the site or temporarily. Maybe try a different browser to see what happens.
