| 1299103 | 2012-09-05 06:19:00 | Looking to install a 2nd HDD in my laptop on which to install Ubuntu/OS86 and a few other things. My laptop has 2ndary HDD bay but didn't ship with a 2nd SATA cable. Just in case does anyone have a SATA/HDD cable for a HP pavillion (DV7). It needs to be long since the drive sits on the other side of that chassis. If no one does then I'll try nab one off eBay. The other thing I was looking for was a 2.5'' HDD or SSD, if anyone has one they are looking to sell I'd be interested. If I was to buy an SSD what would you recomend? Not looking for a huge (sized) one or a massive performance drive, just something to put windows, photoshop maybe a few games on. Price is the big factor for me atm. I don't mind buying online. Thanks TEG |
