2012-09-03 09:53:00 | So I have a amd Phenom x4 that im going to use as a tv box, the motherboard only has pci-e x1 ports available. I need one that can handle Freeview HD. So what recommendations do you have for me?

2012-09-03 09:58:00 | How many tuners are you wanting? You can get up to 4/quad tuners on one pcie card. | CYaBro (73) | |
2012-09-03 09:59:00 | 4 channels at once? That would be awesome | nedkelly (9059) | |

2012-09-03 20:39:00 | WMC is OK, but you'll have to have Windows 7 for it to pick up any channels at all. Vista wont pick up any channels, unless it was pre-installed (from what I've read anyway). Since, you need the TV pack install or something (which some versions of Vista dont have) | Speedy Gonzales (78) | |

2012-09-03 21:59:00 | 2200 Works ok for me www.ascent.co.nz I use NextPVR, even that has some annoying quirks like the context menu flickers so you can't quickly exit or change channel, and the tv guide sometimes takes a while to get programme details.
