1275266 2012-05-14 07:21:00 I went into PB tech the other day only to see UEFI motherboards, 2tb harddrives, new intel sockets and PCI E 3.0 videocards.
When on earth did all of this happen? I mean, I knew the 7000 series of ATI cards were pcie 3.0, but didn't think there were motherboards for it yet. And UEFI I had NO clue about.

And how many bloody sockets has intel done since my cpu now? I know 2500k and all that, now there's another one or two? WHEN?

Gah.

1275274 2012-05-15 03:59:00 You just picked the wrong moment to blink, we get bursts of new tech from time to time :)
None of it is particularly compelling though, the new stuff will take a while to reap any real-world gains out of these new technologies. The thing I'm liking most lately is my USB 3.0 flash drive and my year old P67 board supports that.
