1275263 2012-05-14 06:54:00 Anyone suggest a web developer in Otago or Southland experienced with online shopping? For a small start up so do not want big budget stuff but someone locally who has done it before and will give good service.
Thanks

These days you don't need a developer to put up a shopping cart, as many shopping carts are now SAAS. You could Big Commerce, which has a free trial at tinyurl.com . I find it a really good system that you can do it yourself with if you have a small budget. It also supports NZ payment processors like Payment Express. There are some NZ systems, but I haven't found them anywhere near as advanced as this one. Another one I like is Bigcartel at tinyurl.com which is free for 5 products or less. but it is far more basic.
