1274473 2012-05-10 03:52:00 A while ago, I purchased some capacitors from RS Components .

While they were coming from UK and took 7-10 days, after receiving nothing from them for about 2 weeks, I called and asked what had happened .

They told me that they had been delivered and that I had signed for them - of course, this was not true . Interestingly, track-and-trace website showed not a signature, but a mess of random lines .

RS told me they had lodged a claim and sent a free replacement . I received those a week later but they had been squashed and were totally useless .

Meanwhile the courier had told me he'd delivered them, but someone had come around the side of the house and signed for them . I was suspicious of this as I had never even seen a courier van in the vicinity that previous week .

On the third time I got lucky, I got the 2nd replacement lot of capacitors, no damage, and everything was fine .

And that was the end of it .

Or so I thought .

Today, a plain white van, no courier logo, not even a rental logo or anything turned up and a package was delivered to the letterbox . . . Turned out to be that original capacitor order that was apparently given to someone else from the start!

The best bit?

I made that order 2 YEARS ago!

So there you have it . NZ Couriers officially gets my vote as New Zealand's slowest courier service . :p

1274476 2012-05-10 05:23:00 I've had no issues.

I just scored a vinyl cleaning brush today, and that was send from auckland yesterday.

I'm guessing they found it down the back of a table in the sorting centre or something... along with how many other items I wonder!

1274482 2012-05-10 09:25:00 Can they deliver this slowness with consistency and a high level of mangling? If they can, Swiss Post will have to look to their laurels (dictionary.cambridge.org). ;) R2x1 (4628)
