| 1275129 | 2012-05-14 08:43:00 | IMO the rates are what the market would bear and also what the other costs are ... as someone said the rates might just be turnover. How much quantity and therefore what is the turnover or revenue and then you would also have other costs assoc. Advertising, motor vehicle, rental, rates, tax, employees, ACC. In terms of ripping off - could be a two way street. If you price it too cheap for diff services, some customers may choose you for the relatively cheaper stuff and avoid you for the other stuff. The tech would price it higher even if demand drops a bit if it improvies their profit. Also not just labour rates. Could also be what other charges, like if you had parts costs that are billed to the customer. Do you price them separately as well ... or do you add diff prem. surcharges on them too or do you have no mark up at all ... |
