1274613 2012-05-12 00:10:00 I hate it when you meet someone and the first thing they say is, What Do You Know. Whats it to them what I know.

1274615 2012-05-12 00:47:00 Any politician saying "We all know - - -"
It, like, you know, sux.

Are you sure you don't mean "It, like, you know, kinda sux." ?

And, in the same vein, you go to the doctor and they ask "How are you today?" It's a redundant question - I'm there 'cos I'm sick!!

1274618 2012-05-12 03:53:00 Will that did happen to me when I was very sick one year and went to the chemist with a prescription and the girl behind the counter asked how I was today and I replied not very well. I think she was blonde.
:)

When asked, "How are you today?", It pays to be a little bit dishonest and say you feel fine. It could end up with a long winded conversation otherwise.

Health professionals do need to know the truth though.

Or.. if you've got a bit of time to spare, give them a whole litany of tragic events that have supposedly befallen you lately... We, I was woken up this morning by the water pouring thru' the roof of my flat - turns out the woman above had started running a bath, got a phone call from her best friend and forgotten to turn the soddin' (or should I say sodden?) water off. When her plumber arrive he accidentally ran over my cat........." (any one want to continue it? :) ) - could go on for ages....
