1274168 2012-05-08 09:29:00 You are indeed, It started with you user name and never improved from that point onwards.

You can't fix a problem by denying it, nor by attacking people who aren't part of the problem.

I'm guessing your either a child or a hippy, either way, Go get a job.

I'd always rely on your judgement in spotting left wing pot smoking unemployed hippies - they live in forests I'm told. God knows what a global conscience is though, sounds like what you'd get after eating magic mushrooms.

It is no longer unusual to have 13 year old children giving birth in this country.

Our society has gone seriously astray if people think it is alright for imature children to become parents.

Take a look around the suburban shopping areas. There's pregnant kids pushing prams. One thing is for certain - they will not be providing their own financial support.

Society has failed to educate them of the wider implications of shagging.
They've failed to exercise control or judgement, in an era with the most contraceptive options in history.

I know lots of good folk, well educated, and childless, who can't afford kids coz they're taxed to death paying for every other bastards bastards.

When the educated masses decrease breeding (or leave NZ), and the uneducated masses increase breeding, then society will be on a slippery slope which will be very hard to claw back from. Every generation further down this track makes the mess that much deeper.
We could descend into a gated society like South Africa, with slums, real poverty, real hardship, and really serious crimes if the generations of endless dependancy cannot be controlled.

1274171 2012-05-08 09:37:00 Why don't they just all take a leaf from my book and stay single/a virgin until they're at least 19... pcuser42 (130)
1274172 2012-05-08 09:42:00 Its a non-event anyhow, The money they get now is "free" money, then they get heavily subsidised if not free medical care at our cost, and then subsidised if not free prescriptions, at our cost.

Yet they still spit out the kids, again at our cost.

No it hasent, it has educated them that if they do it, they will be well looked after, get lots of handouts, not have to work, cheap or free healthcare, all the mod-cons (I had to give a quote to WINZ recently for a single mother who wanted (and got) a mid-range spec laptop with MS Office 2010), LCD TV's etc, afford to go out drinking at least once a week, etc etc, and everyone will feel sorry for you because you are a poor solo mother with one or more snotty-nosed brats who are the next generation of NZers.

The Govt and society (and Sue Bradford) have taught them well dont you think...
