Minuets are for dancing, not running ...

1274484 2012-05-10 11:19:00 I am guessing that it was delivered to the wrong place two years ago, put in the too hard basket and forgotten about. The place where it was delivered to had a clean up two years later and found it. Hence the unmarked white van delivering it to your letter box. Bobh (5192)

That sounds like a good explanation actually... Still, I have seen couriers use plain white vans before, so could be either I suppose.

An unmarked white van is nothing suspicious for a courier - just means the driver's usual van is in for a service or repair (the white van being a loaner) or the courier has just bought a new van and it hasn't yet been painted/signwritten...

1274488 2012-05-11 04:11:00 and I was annoyed that my parcel this week took 3 days (also NZ Couriers)... was supposed to be next business day. I even contacted them to try to find where it had gone - courier turned up less than an hour later lol.

Best delivery I ever had was when I ordered something from a computer shop (can't remember which - possibly Ascent ) a few years ago. Paid by CC at after 8pm, I had the package by 10am next day :D (I live in Tauranga, package originated I think in Wellington)

No doubt they found the package when they cleaned out the old van.....

1274490 2012-05-11 10:19:00 I used to get good service for courier deliveries. As long as I ordered something from Auckland by 3pm I could expect it to be delivered to me the next morning in Invercargill. They must have flown the parcels down overnight. Bobh (5192)
1274491 2012-05-12 05:17:00 I've had no issues.

I just scored a vinyl cleaning brush today, and that was send from auckland yesterday.

But you'd originally ordered a chainsaw and that's gone somewhere else, right?
