Except Captain Marvel is DCU, and The Avengers are Marvel, and it sounds like the big-screen crossover is quite a while away if at all ;)

1274311 2012-05-11 04:19:00 I enjoyed it, was a lot funnier than I expected particularly the Hulk.

Yeah funny how he was the stand out character and Captain America was the boss (sort of but he was the oldest)

Just to be a total geek, yes DCU has captain Marvel originally by fawcett comics from around 1940 but Marvel also have a character by that name started in 1967.

I love when Loki rants at the hulk and pays the price for it "puny god" priceless.

1274313 2012-05-11 08:06:00 Oh, bummer. It's a comic hero type of Avengers.

I was salivating at memories of Emma Peel (Dianna Rigg) in a differnt sort of Avengers. What an anticlimax.

I won't be going to it. and Scarlet doesn't do it for me at all.

Valid point, though I think marvel's Captain Marvel is typically referred to as Mar-Vell these days? DC's Captain Marvel, associated with the Shazam! branding, is probably the most common outside of.. certain very fanatical circles ;)
