I have a friend, she had a child - child now in her early 30's - and her partner, being a useless type ran off never to be seen (or pay child support) again. She was on the DPB for a bit, went to tech when they paid for it. For the last 20 something years she's worked in IT. never had another child, stayed single and earns truckloads now. Lives happily ever after. This is the norm. Not the few.... Even the fat cow in charge was on the DPB - she didn't stay on it. As for contraceptives, I think they should make it compulsory for everyone, you should have to have a license to breed, unemployed or stinking rich regardless. Too many people in the world now. |
