| 1298540 | 2012-09-03 03:25:00 | This turned up in my email yesterday: It is displayed exactly as it was copied out of Mailwasher's option to preview before download, and apart from a modest abbreviation at the point marked "Oops......." to remove a duplicated screed of text, it is as received. It came in via one of my alias addresses on Xtra and smacks of a scam, especially so when it asks for my login at the section I have bolded. I can usually see where the link is that takes you to the scammer's site but I can't pick it up in this one. I wouldn't respond anyway, not even to Microsoft, but apart from offering this as a possible warning, I'm curious to know if anybody else has received it, and if it could indeed be genuine. And I doubt, you would have to have an email program / or an email address, so you could update windows. I see quite a few of these auto-screened out by Mailwasher and mostly I just ignore them, but I occasionally I get curious and take a peek inside to see where the sender's 'return address' is concealed, but I couldn't find it in this one .
