I recently installed a CD writer into my computer and the last couple of days the computer has been shutting itself off, just like someone switching off the power. At the time i was playing games through the CD rom drive.
I uninstalled the CD writer to see if there was a problem with that, but it still does it. Any suggestions as to what the problem is? |

Do you own a cat or any pets? Once my friend installed a CDR and the same thing happened but it wasn't because of the CDR, it was because he had cat hair in the fan stopping it from working shuting off the power, have a look for 'excess fur' in or dust in your computer. |

..... it's even worse when your cat is in your box. Not only does your system heat up quickly, the scratching noise gets annoying ......... |
