recently in Imag issue April Rob you supplied a good answer to that persons problem with his/her modem disconnecting. I followed through your advise to the part in Dial Properties to check the box To disable call waiting, dial: and hello its unavailable/greyed out. What now? Also in the control panel under Modem Properties in the Connection Tab the disconnect a call if idle for more than... is grey out too. I have tried the Option in Tools but no luck. I have a Conexant Softk56 and am running on Windows 98 SE. And yes it has disconnect while I type this at about the 2nd sentence. Very annoying but thanks for any suggestions. |
