| 47637 | 2002-05-07 11:16:00 | I've been hit by two virus, one being badtranz, the other trojan I think. I foolishly opened an attachment from a stanger, but that is a risk in my work. Nortons has killed them, but my outlook express falls over every time I send an email. Ie I can receive a bunch of emails, but unless I exit out of outlook express and then go back in, in falls over, taking any newly written emails with it. Very annoying. Reloading outlook express doesn't seem to work and Explorer seems unaffected. I would prefer not to refomat the hard drive. Any suggestions? I would be very grateful. And should virus writers be jailed? |

| 47638 | 2002-05-07 20:34:00 | should virus writers be jailed? I think not, as they have allready waisted far too many resourses. Hung drawn and quartered, on international TV would be more appropriate.. It sounds like a reformatt might be the only way.. seems the best way to make sure a system is running right when all else fails. |
