| 47530 | 2002-05-07 05:28:00 | Still need help please!!! with a Win95 dial up error message 'remote failured to answer' This PC has had the W32Klez virus removed by the Norton fix FIXKLEZ.com program (running in safe mode). The virus has destroyed NAV and some components, with a reload from the CD now carried out. When dial up networking and the connection is selected (out of Internet explorer and outlook) the modem dials, the remote answers but the Win95 PC does not accept the connection. I have removed and reinstalled the Windows setup,(add remove programs) communications components with no success.NAV removed, as is NAV Update etc) What else can I do? | Guest (0) | ||
