47511 2002-05-07 03:05:00 Is it poosible to manipulate the windows volume control settings (like mute/unmute the various inputs) with command lines through dos?

I am using windows 2000, and I wish to be able to make DOS batch files to change various volume settings so I can use them with the task scheduler.

Cheers, Craig.

47512 2002-05-07 10:10:00 Hi Craig, I'll stand corrected, but dont think there is a way to do what you want. The volume control program is sndvol32.exe, and the only command line switch I've found is sndvol32 /r which brings up the Recording Control window.
Cheers

Cheers,
Craig.
