| 47705 | 2002-05-08 03:19:00 | Hi I have a Dynalink PCMCIA modem on my (ancient but trusty) laptop. Alone amongst all the modems I use (well would you belive 4 on different machines) it reports connection speed as the 115,200 bps speed between my computer and the modem. How can I get it to display the connection speed between my modem and the World Wide wonder? |

Start > settings >control panel > modems. Select the modem you are using to connect to the Internet, and click properties > connection > advanced > Extra settings. Add 'W2' in here and ok apply out back to the control panel. Jess |
