| 47812 | 2002-05-09 01:28:00 | Alternatively, right click on My Computer on your desktop, choose 'Properties' and click the device manager tab. There you will probably see an exclamation mark next your soundcard. Click on the soundcard device and then click the 'Properties' button. A window will pop up, with three tabs. Click the 'Resources' and there you will see a message if your soundcard has an IRQ or DMA conflict. You might have to uncheck the 'Automatic settings' to assign a different IRQ to the soundcard, however beware as most sound cards require a specific IRQ setting. If this is the case then you might have to change another device to a different IRQ. Check with the manufacturer. QED :) |
