| 47750 | 2002-05-08 09:00:00 | I would be keen on ALL good advice!! i have redhat 7.2(2x.ISO files) and mandrake 8.2(3x.ISO files) sitting in a folder in my exsisting windoze box, but have no practical way of burning these onto CD, is it possable to do a network installation from these? What i want this machine to do is work as a web server, storage server for stuff i cant stick on windoze box, mailserver, and anything else i think of later. It will start life with just a 10 gig drive, on a second hand Mobo, with a 450 chip, and it will get a 80 gig drive later, when i have a bit more cash. I have installed an earlyer version of redhat on another machine along a time ago and played for a week with it, other than that i am a linux virgin. |
