| 47675 | 2002-05-08 01:03:00 | I loaded 'Throttle' ex PC World Feb Disk. On trying internet access - failure. Unloaded throttle, restored registry backup, cleaned out , I think, all references to throttle, but was still unable to access internet. Ultimately created a new dialup and did not go through a browser. Got ' checking username and password', then a long period of 'logging on to network' then a working connection. I can only connect by repeating this process. I suspect a change by throttle has not been reversed. running win 98SE on AmdK6 -2 500 256k cache and the usual - Opera, Nortons 2002n Zone pro2.6, and netscape 4.7 to send this appeal. Any assistance appreciated. thanks Leon. |
