| 47940 | 2002-05-09 09:39:00 | Okay, sorry, I've gotten a bit carried away tonight, but anyway. I reckon we need a t-shirt. Post your ideas for what could go on a Press F1 t-shirt. We need one, it would be cool. Has to have PC World on it too, but let's consider the tagline. Needs to say something, maybe in geek speak. Like: Ich bin ein uberclocker I'm geek and I'm proud F1 - where geek is chic F1 - only the FAQ's Ma'am PressF1 or FAQ off (okay, dodgy, sorry) Or something. It has to be a white t-shirt because black ones suck. Get your creative juices flowing. If we use your idea, I'll make sure you get one. No guarantee we will get them made, but we'll try. Okay, I'll try. robo. |

| 47942 | 2002-05-09 10:01:00 | And what's wrong with black t-shirts? So they may be harder to print colour, but they wear harder and sweat stains don't show up as much. :P As for the F1 thing: Geek + F1 = Nerd Enjoy an F1 today! (don't sue me for this one!) F1 helps those who help themselves! PC+0E=F1 (read nought-E) That help any? Oh yea, I expect a full report in next month's PCWorld on the computerworld expo! :D |

ARTS outrageous carnival performer: a carnival performer whose act consists of outrageous feats such as biting the heads off live animals 3. COMPUTING obsessive computer user: somebody who enjoys or takes pride in using computers or other technology, often to what others consider an excessive degree (informal) [Late 19th century. Origin uncertain: perhaps from, ultimately, Low German gek 'fool.'] (from dictionary.msn.com) ---- Anyway, something like that on the back, with a big 'Which Geek are you?' at the bottom. And to add to all that, how about a PC World and Press F1 logo on the front, with a big picture of Robo... hmmm... maybe not. I'll keep thinking, I wanna t-shirt. Mike |

| 47945 | 2002-05-09 10:36:00 | As long as it doesn't have 'PRESS' in big letters - EVERY time I wear my press pass I get some smart arse who does - and considering it is usually on one side of my chest or the other, the joke wears a little thin! A teeshirt is a great idea though - as long as I win one! | Guest (0) | ||
