| 47918 | 2002-05-09 08:47:00 | Is anyone using/used ISP E3? (www.e3.co.nz) I am considering to change my current ISP (IHUG) to a cheaper ones (until I get ADSL :) Can you tell me if you experience busy signal, download performance, and if if you know about ping&lag for games. Any comments on other ISPs (e.g. slingshot) would be appreciated. Btw, I'm aiming for all-u-can-eat option. Thanks alot!! =) |

| 47922 | 2002-05-09 21:40:00 | I have bad stuff to say about slingshot. They suck! I was with them but got shitty connects, and shitty service when i told them about my problem (which wasn't my problem it was their modems not having the correct init strings) e3 is good. It is whom i am with now. It has been slow recently, not really up to game playing standard. However the CEO sent a message to everyone saying the apologise for the slow service of late and have upped the bandwidth. go e3 i say |

If so, is $15 *all* that you pay for as much as you can eat? It's just puzzling me why they have the Plan 6 'Pay via your Telecom bill: Flatrate unlimited access $24.95 (please note this amount includes the Telecom $2.00 surcharge)'. I mean, who wants to pay another $10 just to have the privilege of paying via their Telecom bill?? |
