48138 2002-05-10 13:09:00 Any idea as to where the file is that has the list of domains to block. I wan't to transfer my hosts file into it. There is no way that I want to enter them manually into Outpost.

48139 2002-05-10 13:45:00 Hi JM

Have you tried: C:\Program Files\Agnitum\Outpost Firewall 1.0\Plugins\Ads (thats ADs.log)

Iv'e tried copy>paste in the ads properties (in the programme) with limited success.

How do you find the programme in general. I can't access the help files in my (free) version. Is there any way to rectify that without doing the obvious?

Cheers

48140 2002-05-10 23:37:00 why put your host file into outpost? its already doing its job and its far better to have the host file than in outpost. do you notice that the host file blocks out sites/adds BEFORE outpost does.

as far as the help file goes i thought that was fixed with the latest ver. you may have to download the new version complete rather than running the update in outpost.

48141 2002-05-11 09:34:00 I'm running ver, 1.0.1511.1038
with help files enabled, a free download.

48142 2002-05-11 13:56:00 I just don't like the way the HOST file leaves the 'this page can not display' type thing all over the place.

Also on some sites I will have trouble clicking the back button because it just tries to reload the ad that has been blocked by the host file.
