After installing MSDN April 2002 (on a Win2K PC), which insisted I upgrade to IE6 and latest Windows Installer, Windows Explorer (i.e. the system shell) now crashes when attempting to expand folders (it autorestarts though). Have reinstalled Win2K SP2, even copied in a slightly earlier version of a Win2K explorer.exe. Suspect it's IE6 that's causing the problem. After extensive searching for a fix, I've had no joy. Anyone here got any bright ideas or recommendations? |
