| 48051 | 2002-05-10 02:16:00 | I recently installed 'The X-Files Game' onto my P733 running XP Pro. The installation put on Quicktime 3. When the game ran first time the sound was crackling, like a radio station not tuned in properly. Ok, I thought, try compatibility for Win 95 or 98 - no luck. Hmmm, try the latest Sound card drivers - got them already. Next: Quicktime, got version 5 - excellent sound all fixed. However: I click 'New' to start a new game and it crashes 2 seconds into the opening FMV. Task Manager says this game uses Quicktime as it's backbone, QT does all the stuff but I can find nothing at Apple's or Microsoft's support about this. Any ideas? |
