48041 2002-05-10 01:39:00 Hi

I'm planning to install a new server in a site. The server will be running NT4 SP6a and will have a CDRW installed.

I'm wanting to know if its possible to created a script that will automatically create a backup file and then burn it onto a CDR.

It has to be done with as little human involvement as possible.

Can it be done, can anybody help.

Cheers

However, there are quite a few shareware and freeware programs out there that may help you with this. Just do a search for CDRW backup software.

48043 2002-05-13 03:51:00 INcd that come with Nero can be used to set up a CDRW so that it looks just like a big floppy drive. You can then use to CDRW with any 'normal' tools or apps. So you can use a dos .BAT file to Copy, Xcopy, ZIP etc the file(s) you want to backup. Guest (0)
