I suspect in this case it is most likely to be TheBat or a trojan. If you have done an up to date virus scan using the latest DAT files available, then check the settings in TheBat to see if you can change it so it is not always trying to get internet access. |

| 48026 | 2002-05-10 02:31:00 | Thanks for that. I'm pretty sure its not TheBat coz I've had that running for ages with no probs. I did download (I think it was Spambuster) from PCWorld but uninstalled it because it caused problems with my connection... Maybe it didn't totally uninstall? Would this be a case of using a program to clean out my registry? Cheers |
