| 48016 | 2002-05-09 23:16:00 | 1) Anyone know how to access the Word 'Symbols' page for use in text in an Excel cell? 2) Is there any way of tagging cells (at random) in a spreadsheet so that they can be later selected for a function ? e.g. SUM(any cell that contains a *) ? |

Not the font symbol though - in Word there is the Insert drop-down menu whee an option is 'symbol' and this gives a table of symbols such as are used in maths, tech drwing etc. That's what I'm after. I hadn't met the SUMIF - I'l give it a burst. Thanks again. |
