| 48283 | 2002-05-11 08:16:00 | my wk2 notebook connects to the company net works using Novell netware client to connect to a novell network and a microsoft domain. I now have another location which requires me to connect to a W2k workgroup. The note book in its current configuration will connect to the workgroup, but runs very slow. So slow that it cannot be used. Can anybody suggest how I can get the workgroup connection to run at a normal speed, at the same time ensuring the machine will still connect correctly to the normal office Novell / Mircosoft domain. Thanks in advance for any help. |

| 48284 | 2002-05-12 05:01:00 | This sounds it could possibly be a hardware problem. Try setting your NIC to run at a slower speed in the problematic office. If it goes ok after a slow start however then it might be caused by your RPC binding order, if you have more than one protocol and client installed. |
