| 48285 | 2002-05-11 07:58:00 | im running windows 95 and my windows folder contains 4284 files, 235 folders. im sure that a number of the folders are just remanders of previously installed programs, etc. can someone please recommend a free program, which will delete all the files in my windows folder, which aren't used by anything? | Guest (0) | ||
| 48286 | 2002-05-11 08:27:00 | Not sure if it is included with Good Old Win95, but if you go Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools there is a program called Disk Cleanup. Run this on the C Drive and it will get rid of uncessecary files. |

Please read all the documentation thoroughly first, as some settings are altered. This is about as good a cleanout of your system as is available, that I have seen.
