| 48293 | 2002-05-11 09:14:00 | Bought pieces of PC put together and no worries all goes well for the day. Put it away for a day. Next day install network card and turn back on - nothing, no power at all? Does't POST! Any ideas? I tried different PSU hoping? Also unplugged everything. 750 Duron on Gigabyte 7ZMMC with lots of ram. Modem was the only other PCI card installed. Could I have fried it? I take the touch the case before approach. |

| 48295 | 2002-05-11 09:42:00 | Check the seating of any plugin cards - PCI, AGP etc, by looking along the connector and make sure the edge finger is completely down in the socket. If cards are not seated fully, they can give the type of grief you are experiencing. | Guest (0) | ||
| 48296 | 2002-05-11 22:01:00 | I have taken out all cards and unplugged IDE and floppy, still no show, the CPU fan doesn't even start up? What is the scenario for testing it? Repairing if possible? |
