| 48477 | 2002-05-12 09:15:00 | I have an intermittent fault where my computer hangs on startup - when I press Ctrl+Alt+Del I get 'Vsmon(not responding)'. I can't seem to find any info on this! I have a PII 300 with 98SE & 192MB Ram. Usually it starts OK the second time. | Guest (0) | ||

| 48479 | 2002-05-12 09:52:00 | I had similar problems with Mcafee v5.1 and Windows ME. No problems with Mcafee 6 however, under ME or xP. Never did resolve it, updated windows etc but it went away with V6 and or Xp. Seemed that Mcafeec was launching before boot was complete?? |

It may even have been on Zonealarm's own website but whatever, I found it by searching Google for 'vsmon not responding' + zonealarm. The fix was simple, so simple in fact that I can't remember what it was! All I remember is that it worked. Cheers Billy 8-{) |
