48639 2002-05-13 07:00:00 I have 2 HDDs (C & D) & use win 98. I have lots of start up/shut down and freeze problems since installing IE6.
I now wish to reformate drive C and perform a clean install.
My computer tells me drive C is a network drive (which is not the case) and will not let me reformat it. How do I overcome this.

48640 2002-05-13 07:36:00 Create a Windows 98 startup disk and use that in the floppy dive when restarting your computer. Format using that.

Ensure the BIOS boot order is A:C:then anything else.
