| 48711 | 2002-05-13 20:48:00 | I have Word97 on a WinXP PC. On saving files (and on using Thesaurus) Word shortens filenames to a single letter. I save the file as 'Automobile prices.doc' and Word saves it as 'A.doc'. If I then save a file as 'Aspens in the Waikato.doc' Word tells me that A.doc already exists; would I like to overwrite... In Thesaurus I could look up 'party'; I get a list of synonyms, but the Replace with synonym box only has the first letter of the word. This might mean that I can only keep 26 documents on the PC. Any ideas? Steve |
