48895 2002-05-15 03:15:00 When I click the tiny arrow tothe right of the address window, the drop down menu normally lists all the sites I've recently visited. For some reason they've all disappeared.I now have a huge empty drop down menu. Can anyone tell me what I have done to lose them all and how I can restore these regularly used sites. Guest (0)
48896 2002-05-15 08:29:00 To lose them, either you or someone else using the computer has either cleaned up internet files using disk cleanup or they have gone to tools, internet options, delete files.

Im not sure that there is a way to restore them but you will be able to get to your most recent ssites by going to the browser history, that is if it hasn't been delete as well.

48897 2002-05-15 11:12:00 Thanks Sam. I think that is eactly what I must have accidentally done because all my history files have gone as well Guest (0)
48898 2002-05-15 14:37:00 Hi b w,

Just been reading the posting two up. Same trouble. I dont suppose you are using a cleaner called 'Xen'?

48899 2002-05-15 21:27:00 Yes Graeme I certainly WAS using Xen. It's clearly too ruthless for me. I think I'll stick to a cleaning utility that I have more control over. I've still got my Favourites intact but it's a nuisance losing that very useful dropdown menu for instantuse. Susan B said to be very careful before you use it. Obviously I wasn't careful enough.
