48921 2002-05-15 02:40:00 Are you on dial-up? Are you sure that you haven't lost your connection while this is happening?
Is everything else ICQ, EMAIL, etc still working while this happens?
Sometimes if you are running a file-sharing prog it will move a file really fast, and no room for moving anything else exsists.
I think more info as to what ISP, and what progs you have using the net will be needed to answer this question.

48922 2002-05-15 05:04:00 I have a similar thing happen with E3. I think it is something wo do with a dodgy DNS or Proxy Server at their end.

48925 2002-05-15 11:22:00 Hi Tanya

This isn't a fix at this time anyway. I'm also having very poor connections to/via Paradise about 40% of the time.

I'm not sure yet whether its them, me or somewhere in between (which in Paradises case means Telstra Saturn/them) which is causing the problem but, I've checked and re-installed just about every bit of hardware and software I can think of.

They (Telstra Saturn) are almost impossible to get hold of at the moment and don't seem to have any capacity to answer emails.

If I get anywhere with them or any of the other fixes I'm persueing, I'll let you know by way of a Post on F1.

If anybody else has any ideas they'd be very welcome.

Cheers
