| 48929 | 2002-05-15 05:23:00 | After re-installing Win98SE I am having problems running the games I have re-installed so far...Incoming - 'unable to find suitable device',NFS High Stakes - 'AMF=16 platform.c(347)', and Disney Tarzan - 'Glide 3D not available'. When I run DirectX diagnostics the DirectDraw, Direct3D and AGP Texture acceleration is 'not available'. Are all these linked? I have updated my drivers, tried various remedies from Net searching but still nothing seems to work. Any ideas would be great, thanks. | Guest (0) | ||

| 48931 | 2002-05-15 06:36:00 | I tried DirectX 8.0 but still didn't fix the problem. I found a possible remedy in Microsoft's support page which describes a conflict with the hardware accelerator & 3DFX adapter after re-installing Windows, but I cannot seem to find a correct driver for my 3D adaptor (I have an AMD-K6 3D 380mHz processor with MMX & 3DNow.Thanks. | Guest (0) | ||
