48900 2002-05-15 03:36:00 Whilst working with Excel, I have accidentally clicked on 'New Window' in the 'Windows' drop down menu.
This created a duplicate which I do not know how to get rid of. The original is called .xls1 and the second .xls2. They both open up when I want to access the file.
Can someone please help me to get rid of this annoying and unwanted second file?!
Thanks.

48901 2002-05-15 23:39:00 I didn't know what you were talking about so I tried it. To get rid of the other book is very easy. Open the file. then change to the book you don't want by using the window menu. Close the unwanted book and then Re-save. The book should no longer be there Guest (0)
48902 2002-05-16 00:35:00 Sorry, but it did not work. When I closed the unwanted window, it closed both. I tried to save it under a different name, still no luck. Guest (0)
