| 49221 | 2002-05-16 22:44:00 | Hi all, One of my computers was reently infected with the nim,da E virus. I went to the Symnatec site and downloaded thier tool for removing it, this worked fine on my Windows 95 machine. However when I ran the program on our Windows XP Professional machine it crashed (even under windows 95 compatibility mode). The two machines are networked, and I want to check whether the XP machine is infected and if it is remove the virus. I only have Norton Antivirus 5.0 which I have been tols won't work on XP. Any suggestions would be greately appreciated. |
