49182 2002-05-16 10:15:00 I have Win98 (not SE) and require the SE USB driver to connect my Video Camera's USB port to the PC. I'm running an old Pentium166 & Win98 with a PnP 2 port USB PCI card. Win98 recognises the card & tells me that it is working OK. When I load the Sony driver & connect the camera, Win98 tells me that a 'device is present' but refuses to recognise what the drive is. I've been told that Win98 will give this problem with a USB card & that I need the driver from Win 98SE to make this work. Guest (0)
49183 2002-05-16 13:19:00 You don't give any details of what model your Sony camera is, but I did a search on Google for Sony video camera usb drivers, and came up with this page you could try:

49184 2002-05-16 22:09:00 Thanks Tane, I have the latest camera drivers for the TRV330E but need the Win 98 SE USB driver as the Win 98 original edition won't drive the USB card correctly. Win 98 recognises the card but won't drive it. One of the Sony Techies had the same problem and cured it this way. However the Techie has mislaid the driver he used.
