| 49182 | 2002-05-16 10:15:00 | I have Win98 (not SE) and require the SE USB driver to connect my Video Camera's USB port to the PC. I'm running an old Pentium166 & Win98 with a PnP 2 port USB PCI card. Win98 recognises the card & tells me that it is working OK. When I load the Sony driver & connect the camera, Win98 tells me that a 'device is present' but refuses to recognise what the drive is. I've been told that Win98 will give this problem with a USB card & that I need the driver from Win 98SE to make this work. | Guest (0) | ||

Win 98 recognises the card but won't drive it. One of the Sony Techies had the same problem and cured it this way. However the Techie has mislaid the driver he used. Murray. |
