| 49138 | 2002-05-16 05:51:00 | Hi, I have a network between one computer running Windows Me and one computer running Windows XP Pro. When I connect to one of the XP Pro drives from my ME machine, the drive appears as FAT - not FAT32, consquently I can it says that there is less hdd space left than there should be and my transfer times are terribly slow. Thanks in advance, any help appreciated |

| 49139 | 2002-05-16 06:34:00 | its proberly just me (not enough coffffeeeee) but can you explain how it is hooked up and how are you transferring data across??? are both pc's connected to a network and you are transfering files through a lan cable? in which case fat dosn't come into it. or are you removing one drive out of one machine and installing it in the other? is the WinXP fat32 or ntsc? |
