| 1300537 | 2012-09-12 00:40:00 | hi all I am having problems with rundll32.exe. When I run Add/Remove in Control panel it fails to populate my installed programmes and when trying to close it, it comes up with Error: rundll32.exe. (Am running Windows XP). I get this same Error message when trying to install software from CD. Using google, I have done the following suggested actions - run malware removal scan, run virus scan, deleted the rundll32.exe in the windows/windows32 folder and rebuilt it using the following in the cmd window expand c:\windows\i386\rundll.ex_ c:\windos\windows32\rundll32.exe. Nothing has worked!! Any FIX IT ideas and solutions welcome please. Thanks in advance Chris. |
