I'm currently working on a laptop running Windows 7 and every time I let the computer idle for about a minute, the screen turns black and it brings me back to the startup login screen. It's pretty frustrating as you can imagine and I was just wondering if anyone knew of a solution for this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks |

It's a screensaver setting - to return to the Welcome screen after exiting screensaver mode. |

Yes, lengthen the screensaver time and while in Power Options, on the left, click "Require a password on startup". Change the default to not require. (There will be another click needed to get to that option). |
