Most distros have reasonably sane defaults, so my guess is that they're simply not installed. As KarameaDave says, CPU scaling is a good first step - however if you find this isn't enough, there are other things you can do too. Ok, downloaded the applet, will have a look. Also have 300 updates to install :eek: |
