1275734 2012-05-16 23:24:00 Weekend sport costs the country billions of dollars, I suggest a registration system based on age and sport played.

People will need to pay (in advance) to play, otherwise just sit at home and never risk an injury.

Rugby players, runners and cyclists, watch out. Use fish and chip eaters have had a gutful of paying for your stupidity.

It's amazing that people cant grasp this simple concept. No shock headlines in telling some simple truths ??

So we need to tax bread, olive oil, pasta, potatoes, milk, meat, some vege's, fruit(lots of sugar in fruit)
Most of my personal fat is from bread .

Lets also tax sports, lots of sports injuries costing the country big $$$ .
Lets tax people who cant afford regular doctors & dentists visits, they will cost us more in the long term.

1275738 2012-05-17 03:44:00 So install Adblock. Thought about it, but does that stop ads in google earth, youtube, installers, phones and everything other than websites with ads? Iantech (16386)
1275739 2012-05-17 03:49:00 ...and that other one with the drop kick Mana and might as well add Maori and all other parties too You cant, its their cultural right to get everything for nothing. And if you did try, Maori might start taxing non Maori the air we breathe and the water we drink as they think they own it. :p Iantech (16386)

Didn't know Google Earth had ads, but I stopped using it ages ago because it forces that shitty googleupdater service into your machine.

Youtube ads are usually blocked with adblock etc as far as I know.

If your installers have ads in them, you're using crappy programs.

As for phones (and I assume you mean smartphones), I didn't know they had ads either. If they do, that's pathetic. But wouldn't surprise me if there was an adblock for them as well.

Just trying to think of recent programmes I have had to install around the place.... I dont know, it just seems everything these days want to make you install some other rubbish you dont want or need. Dont know whats up with the phone, some advert thing alerts me about once a week, I'll take more notice next time. Sorry, its getting a bit off topic really.

1275742 2012-05-17 04:48:00 You're right about CCleaner, it does give you the option to install something annoying. It's probably the only program I use (that I can think of) that does have something like that.

I ditched Adobe Reader long ago though. far too bloated and slow. Flash doesn't ask once it's installed and just updating. I use the manual installer anyway.

Not sure about Malwarebytes, I don't use it.

What I mean really is that if a program is written by someone who actually cares about the program, they don't put crap in the installer, because they know it devalues it.
