| 1299978 | 2012-09-10 04:37:00 | Looks like that file belongs to the audio drivers. Try disabling the sound in the BIOS. Then uninstall its drivers, if it boots into windows. If it does, download the drivers again. Then reboot. See if you can still get into windows. It didnt happen after installing SP3 did it? If XP is on it | Speedy Gonzales (78) | ||

| 1299983 | 2012-09-11 00:51:00 | Try connecting the hdd to a working system, get access to the hdd. Find portcls.sys, rename it. Then put it back in the system that crashes. Enable the sound in the BIOS again. See if it gets into windows. If it does, if sound drivers are installed uninstall them. portcls.sys is probably corrupt.
