1276288 2012-05-19 07:18:00 SWMBO lost her mobile somewhere. Vodaphone told us there's no activity since the day she's seen it last, so it;s probably not stolen. Is there any way of finding it via GPS, even if it is switched off - we tried the usual like calling to no avail. She could not remember whether she activated the Samsung Dive app. Samsung Galaxy (the first one)

Not to be an ******** but...
Do they know this based on simcard activity or via the IMEI number of the phone on their network??
If it is based on the simcard activity it doesn't mean anything at all, a thief would probably have changed it.
And IMEI can be spoofed. Could also be on running on Telecom's network, too.

1276294 2012-05-19 20:08:00 I quite often find my phone by ringing it. More often than not it is found tucked down in the seat that I was sitting in. Bobh (5192)
